Walker’s Wellington
Wellington was once the place where you boarded the ferry for the South Island. It is now a "destination" in its own right. No longer a place for head offices (which have moved to Auckland or Sydney) it remains New Zealand’s Capital and helped not a little by being Peter Jackson's home town and the place where the Lord of the Rings trilogy was made has become an exciting town to live in and visit.
