Each tour takes around 2 and a half hours to walk but you walk at your own pace stopping where you want. Details of each walk Barri Gotic walk A walk through the oldest part of the city, where Barcelona was founded by the Romans. The walk starts at Plaa del Pi, one of the most beautiful squares in the city, it then explores the vicinity of the Cathedral, with its medieval cloisters and old city walls. There is an optional detour to see a Roman temple, followed by a walk to the Palau Reial Major and Museu Frederic Mares. From Plaa del Rei to Plaa Sant Jaume, you’ll experience the powerful heart of Gothic, Roman and present-day Barcelona. Modernisme, a Catalan architecture walk A walk along beautiful streets which will show you some of the finest examples of “el Modernisme Catal”. The walk starts at Avinguda Diagonal and continues from here looking at examples of different Modernist works around this area and Passeig de Grcia. The walk ends at the exquisite Palau de la Musica. It’s a must for all architecture enthusiasts! La Rambla and surroundings A walk showing you the back streets and sights around La Rambla. The walk starts at Plaa de Catalunya and continues onto the many faces of the different Ramblas that make up La Rambla, one of the world’s most famous pedestrianised streets. Take detours into the Raval, explore La Boqueria market, look on the ground to spot a Mir and admire lots of Modernist buildings, including Palau Gell by the master himself, Antoni Gaudi.
