Starting point: Piazza di Spagna. Start at the top of the Spanish Steps.One of the best kept secrets in Rome is the elevator to the top of the steps.The elevator is by the Metro entrance just off Piazza di Spagna.
Transport: Bus or Metro to Spagna (line A)
Best days: Most shops are closed Sunday and some shops are closed Monday morning. Weekends are very busy at both the Trevi fountain and Spanish Steps. San Crispino (ice-cream) is closed on Tuesdays.
Accessibility: Slightly challenging eg. streets with narrow or no pavements. Route goes down the Spanish Steps. It would be possible to use the elevator up and down and listen to tracks from the top and bottom only.
